"Oh! I can imagine!" Lysette said as she turned a page in the leaflet, completely caught up in reading. "Oh, I wish I could go see it," she said, more than a little wistfully. "I adore things like that."
"Well maybe I'll take you to see it when you get better," Robert offered, a look of soft sadness in his eyes.
Lysette gave a delicate snort. "Bobby, please. Be realistic. Even if I do get 'better' as you say, it won't be before the exhibit ends and even then I'll look a fright from all of the chemo. I wouldn't want to go someplace fine looking like that."
Robert's jaw firmed and he looked at the leaflet, wheels turning in his head.
