"It's not being in my thirties," she said, and paused.
She was in her thirties, wasn't she? For a long moment she couldn't remember how old she was. For a long moment she felt as though she were both much younger and much older than that. She blinked, the moment passed and had taken no more than a breath no matter how long it felt.
"It's not being single, either. It's just the passage of time. Moving on. And I don't."
