Noah was not nearly as exhausted as Peri but he'd been gone since nearly six in the morning so he was plenty tired. He had, at least, stopped and gotten food. He tried to keep it relatively healthy with some salads but he'd also gotten some burgers and onion rings from his and Peri's favorite sports' bar, the one they'd met at no less.
He let himself in the apartment and shut the door before Wicket could get out. "Hey, I'm home," He called out before he stopped and put the bag of food on the table by the door. He set his keys in the dish that was on the little table and then put his wallet in with it before he leaned over to greet Wicket so the dog would chill out. Then he stood up and grabbed the bag of food before he started down the hallway.
