"Hey," He said as he finished rinsing Slate off. Slate was making a few sounds of protest but at least Stone had finally gotten Slate cleaned off. "In the kitchen," He added as he drained the sink and set Slate down on the counter but kept a hand nearby to make sure he didn't run.
Slate took an awkward step and then looked around. He seemed a little confused and he looked up at Stone with what Stone could only guess was a glare. "Don't look at me like that, this is your fault." He opened the towel drawer and grabbed one of the older towels, but of course, Slate shook himself out right before Stone could start drying him. Damnit. "Jerk." He muttered as he started using the towel to dry the cat off.
