Vincenzo grunted. "I can imagine," he said. All right, he honestly felt that homosexuality was wrong for all kinds of reasons, but as people Deacon and Charlie were okay guys and he'd never say anything intended to upset them. Avery would have no such qualms.
"Just as well Deac wasn't there to hear," he agreed, "or Avery might have pressed charges. But he can hardly accuse Charlie of - what - bullying? It would be like being savaged by a marmoset."
