Roxy and NPC Lexi, Thursday afternoon (closed)
Roxy had taken today and tomorrow off, calling it an early weekend. Lexi was expected to arrive today and they were going shopping after that. After being invited to come along for opinion's sake, Mrs. Sullivan declined politely, deeming dress shopping something suited better for sisters. Lexi squealed when she found out Roxy hadn't gotten any of the dresses yet, then hauled her butt out to do shopping.
In one of the City's little boutiques, the girls pawed through dresses. Green dresses.
"How about this one?" Lexi asked slightly hopeful.
Roxy wrinkled her nose. "Don't think the cut is appropriate for a wedding, Lex. Kinda like this one. Don't even think about cut out sides, thigh high slits, or see through fabrics." She said with a chuckle. Pawing through a couple more, she didn't see much that caught her attention.
Lexi held up a big poofy dress. "How bout this one? I think they used some super tulle on it."
Looking at the dress, she laughed, then pondered. "Lex... Less tulle... Would you wanna be wearing that?" Knowing her sister would wear whatever she picked, she grabbed another dress. "Ok if you're gonna wear that one, I won't put you in this one."
"Dear God no thank you!" Lexi all but shouted, and put the tulletastic dress back. "What are we looking for anyway?"
Shifting dresses around, Roxy shook her head. "Dunno. Something pretty and green that fits in all the right places and needs little to no alterations." Lifting up a short dress she remarked "Add wings and you could be Tinkerbell."
Lexi just shook her head. "No thanks. What's your dress look like? We should match for the whole conformity of ceremony and all. I'm talking cut and length, no not length. Um... Neckline, sleeves, no sleeves, waistline? You shoulda shown me your dress first."
"I um... My dress... Yeah." She tried to put it a way that wouldn't get her yelled at. Slipping the hanger for Tinkerbell's dress back on the rack she sighed. "I don't have a dress yet."
The blonde's eyes went wide as she nearly dropped the dress in her hand. "What do you mean you don't have a dress yet? That's the most important part! Besides Spencer and the actual proposal, you know... Come on." She grabbed Roxy's hand and took her hunting for a bridal gown.
