"come on then," Ted said and headed for the lesser of the two restaurants. This was not parsimony - the other place, while brilliant, took ages to serve and expected the clientele to be suitably laid back about it. Ted believed that if you were hungry you should eat and didn't want to waste his or Manny's time.
"Table for Fanshawe," he said to the man on the door and smirked as he summoned a waiter.
