Gavin gurgled and looked entirely pleased with himself, hauling himself upright and nuzzling Faith's ears. The dog grinned, in typical dog fashion.
Alec chuckled as he pushed himself up into a sitting position in the grass. "They're gonna be impossible to live with, I can already tell." He brushed his hands on his jeans and then held one out politely in greeting. "Alec Reyes."
He nodded toward the dog and child. "That's my son Gavin, and the one with the tail is my dog Faith."
