Sunday Night, Hawthorne Apt, Lara/Stone
Stone was spending the night home, as previously discussed with Lis. He'd talked to Lara earlier to let her know if she was bored or not busy going to a party or Upstairs to come over if she wanted. He'd ordered some food not too long ago and was waiting for the call saying the delivery was in the lobby while he was watching the game. He wasn't all that interested in it, other than the fact that he'd bet on it for the hell of it. The commercials were pretty lame over all this year but at least he head Tom Petty to look forward to for half time. His attention was mostly on the large Rutherford information book in front of him. He'd gone on a whim to Rutherford after a shrink appointment last week and picked up the book. Rutherford was in fact that school he'd dropped out of in his Sophomore year before he opened his store a number (about five) of years ago now. He wasn't really sure he'd want to go back to school after all the time that had passed, but it was something he was thinking about a lot lately - which was weird.
Anyway, he lost interest in the game fairly easily as he started flipping through the book. It would be dumb to go back for something he was never going to use. He'd also be going to school at the same time as his sister, which wasn't bad and she wasn't necessarily going to Rutherford since she'd been accepted to a number of places already, but it would be weird. Or maybe it would just be weird to him. Stone was thinking about a lot of weird things apparently. Anyway, if he went back, he thought he should go back for something that would be put to use once he was done. He'd taken a lot of core requirements during the years that he'd been in school, and he wasn't even sure if those would be valid still after so many years. So what would he go back for? Maybe he could go back for something music related that could help him with the song writing stuff. That would be useful, right? Oh the things to be pondering if you were Stone Hawthorne.
