Ben watched the little girl dutifully pull clothes out of the dryer. He couldn't even remember the good old days when he wanted to be a grown-up. Mostly now he was afraid of it. Charlie was going to have his work cut out for him, helping her grow up, but Ben could tell he'd do a better job than his father did.
His ears perked when Charlie started talking about building, like it was a masterpiece. "What's your business?"
