Emma's Apt, Evening, Amos and Emma
Amos had wanted to come over as soon as Emma had gotten home, but figuring that would be beyond rude he refrained and managed to restrain himself long enough to give her a few days to settle back in and recuperate from her trip.

Surely now though she'd had enough time and he turned up on her doorstep with some rented DVDs, a still warm pizza, and a hopeful expression.

	Emma shrugged, "If I'm moving about I don't notice it so much, and I have the heating on, just, rather lower than is comfortably warm." Emma meanwhile pulled the blanket off the back of the sofa, and arranged it over her legs, leaving plenty for Amos to cover his legs with too. Then she opened her soda and the pizza box. She chuckled, wafting the scent towards her face, "Mmmm, this smells great, hurry up or there won't be any left?"

She picked up a slice and took a bite, trying to remember what she'd had for lunch.... oh, wait, she'd been too busy with her sketching to eat.

	"Hey, I was only waiting for you to be polite!" Emma poked him gently with one hand, chuckling as she set her soda down and grabbed for a slice of pizza. "Tanned hun? Lucky Hope!" She bit into the pizza slice, enjoying it a lot, as the DVD began to play. She did remember to swallow before speaking again though, "So, er, what is this film about then?" He was pulling his own piece of pizza out of the box, fighting with cheesy strings that clung to the other pieces.

"Well, this guy goes to buy a universal remote for his various electronic devices and with the help of a mysterious salesman at the local Bed, Bath and Beyond he gets a universal remote that controls just that. The universe. He discovers that with this remote he can pause time, fast forward through things he doesn't like to do, mute people, etc. etc."

Emma wasn't kidding, she hadn't seen many movies for a while, and certainly not this one. she shifted slightly, snuggling up a bit more towards Amos, "I can't remember any Adam Sandler movies, what else was he in?" 	He shifted unconsciously, moving the arm closest to Emma to the back of the couch, giving her more room. "Adam Sandler only does comedies. He starred in Mr. Deeds, Big Daddy, Little Nicky, 8 Crazy Nights, The Waterboy....and he's got a new one coming now, uh,...Bedtime Stories. Yeah, I think that's right." "The sooner the better, and er, Inkheart looked good too?" Emma smirked. It wasn't that she didn't like the movies, she just, didn't like going on her own. "Sundays are good for me? What about you?"

The trailers were running through on the TV, but Emma wasn't watching those, instead she was concentrating now on eating the rest of the slice of pizza she was holding, and getting comfortable leaned up against Amos.

	Mmm, but she did, and did! And once the pizza and her soda were finished, she set the box and the can out of the way and went right back to snuggling. That in itself was fine, but what with the film not being quite to Emma's taste, and being warm and comfy, she managed to doze off before the film had finished. (Reply to this) (Parent)
