Emily followed Vincenzo, comfortably holding his arm and feeling already a little calmer.
"Thank you for helping, honey," she said when they were walking. "I've never... been in a situation like that. At least I get a few much needed days off from work," she then said on a lighter note. "Oh, if you have enough arms to carry, could you also bring my laptop? I still have things to do even if I can't go to work. Not tonight, though. I don't think I can concentrate."
She narrowed her eyes feeling the constant dizziness and buzzing head-ache. She had actually thrown up once when she had been back at home, but the nausea did not feel as bad any longer.
