A prickly feeling went down the back of Bridget's neck. She straightened up in her seat and darted her eyes around the immediate area. There was no one of note around, just the same crowd as there'd been a few minutes before.
She looked down at the kids, who were still sleeping in the stroller. Penny stirred just a bit, opening her mouth and lolling her head to the side, but aside from that, they were calm as well.
Bridget furrowed her brow, what had gotten her on alert. The prickly feeling was something that had been happening every once in a while up at the apartment. She didn't like it. At all.
