Jack and Zack strolled onto the stage. Zack, cured of his own nervousness now that he was hyped up on Red Bull, raised his bass in the air and the crowd cheered. He beamed at them and went to plug in. Jack waved to the crowd as well and spotted the woman Nick had mentioned to him earlier. Catching her eye he gave her a wink and a smirk and stepped up to his keyboards.
Jack began playing his keyboards - just a little intro music while the others got situated and as Zack joined in on his bass Deacon sauntered onto the stage, guitar slung over his back. He stepped up to the mic, smiling at the shouts and whistles coming from the audience.
"Howdy," he drawled and there was more cheering. He chuckled and tossed the last of his cigarette to the stage floor and crushed it with his boot. He slid the guitar back around into its proper place and shook his hair from his eyes. "Some of ya know us and some don't. We're Arcane and since we've been gettin' hell for being granddad's by the youngsters back there," and he glanced to the side of the stage with a grin, "we thought we'd remind ya what rock n roll is supposed to be."
He turned to Nick and nodded and they began. Yeah so they were gonna be playing covers of the old classics from bands like the Stones and The Doors, and ZZ Top - you couldn't get much better than that.
