Bridget put the board down and grabbed the onions which, thankfully, were still where she'd left them. She turned on the water in the sink and started peeling the onions under the stream. Despite her efforts, they still agitated her eyes a little and made the bridge of her nose burn. But it wasn't as bad as it could be.
"Hey, how is it over there?" she called to the kids, leaning back to look over at the playpen.
