"I'll have to get a list from work," Ricky said. "But off the top of my head, and with no promise they're available at the date, I could offer you -- well..."
He thought for a bit.
"Apart from Arcane, the most impressive bands are, well..."
He thought more.
"Drunken Nobodies -- play Beach Boys songs and the like with heavy metal instruments; are growing beyond the cover band stage, though, and their own songs have lyrics that are incredibly funny at times. They're loud, though, and do the whole 'leopard stuck in a foundry' thing. But fun! Next up, Oy Vey -- blues and klezmer, bloody brilliant! Especially the guy who plays oboe and sax is just a gift of the gods to music; he'll go far even if the rest refuses to. They might be a bit too gentle and brainy for the loud part of the concert. Then I've got Traffic Violation -- four girls doing the classic rock lineup. Growing beyond cover band stage as well, and their drummer is one of the hottest chicks in the City. Belphegor -- they call their music 'heavy electronic', have bank of synths and a ginormous drum kit, loud, melodic, portentous, full of bathos; sound a bit like Therion on E. Want more?"
