Mocha, morning, various OTA
In the Mocha this reasonably bright Saturday morning were various people doing various things.

Leo was drinking tea and reading the local paper and talking the news over with Fidel, with whom he has discovered he had mutual aquaintances.

Andy and Charlie were playing with her laptop and squabbling over the answers to a "Which Star Wars Character Are YOu?" quiz.

Nick was enjoying a mid morning break - he was on call AGAIN - and doing a cross word while trying to ignore the warm pressure of a furry tabby side against his calf as Palug wound round and round, purring, trying to guilt him into buying a tuna sandwich.

All and any were perfectly prepared to welcome anyone to their table - especially of they had tuna.

"Hi Lara. You know Andy don't you?" Charlie said, and andy grinned and pulled out a chair the other side of her.

"We're still arguing over which quiz to do," she said. "Charlie wants to do this one but for the life of me I can't see what fish might have to do with it."

"You're a Star Wars professor, Lara," Charlie said, "come and help. Honestly Andy," he added, "you should have SEEN Lara'a slave girl Leia costume. Made me wish I was Han Solo."

"Yeah," Lara nodded with a grin as she took the offered seat. She was definitely going to sit down to talk about Star Wars. "I think we met at the girly underwear party."

She leaned over to look at the quiz up on the computer screen. Fish questions were definitely odd. Lara arched her eyebrows and then looked up at Charlie as he talked about her Halloween costume. "Aw, you don't have to butter me up to get me to help you," she joked with a grin.

"No buttering," Charlie said. "I do have my straight moment, you know."
He'd had a soft spot for Lara ever since she'd been such a good sport about kissing her under the mistletoe. "This quiz is bizarre though."

"Yeah," Andy agreed. "I'm used to memes where you can manipulate your answers to get what you want. Hey Lara, did you see the Chippendales poster? June 5th. You gonna come?" As she spoke andy randomly picked the 'koi' option.

Lara grinned at Charlie and gave him a nudge before looking back at Andy and the computer.

"I definitely did see it," Lara nodded with a laugh. "Kind of hard to miss. I actually didn't sign up - I think I'm missing a crucial straight girl gene when it comes to overly muscled guys - but I have a very good feeling that my friend Lis is going to be dragging me. Oo!" She pointed at the screen. "Okay, favorite color. That might have to do with lightsabers. Yoda and Luke are green, Obi Wan's blue, Vader's red."

"Ooh, green!" Charlie said immediately. "I'm not the action-hero type, but green and small and confusing do I can."

Andy snorted and clicked. "Actually, I don;t go a bundle on beefcake either," she said. "For every day I prefer the more functional type - stop preening, Chas - but the Chippendales are such a laugh. Come and giggle at the way some of the audience get hysterical and how seriously the guys take themselves."

"I doubt it," Andy said, glancing at Charlie whose face had taken on that rapt expression that meant he was having a Deacon-related day dream. she nudged him and he jumped.

"But," she added, "pretending to take it all seriously is essential to keep the money rolling in and keep themselves in mink-lined posing pouches. Oh do come. It'll be a giggle."

"Yes it will," Charlie agreed.

"You're NOT coming!" Andy said.

Andy grinned and hastily clicked off the screen. "Yes, Charlie's an Ewok," she said.

"Am NOT," Charlie protested. "I'm not settling for anything less butch than Lando Calrissian."

Andy looked at Lara and rolled her eyes. "All right," she said and clicked the window back on again.

"Princess Leia!" Charlie's eyes bugged. "Well that's Lara's influence. It must be designed to pick up chain mail bikini vibes."
