"Please! Like sicking Gonza and Abby on them is fair!" Audrey protested, making a slight scoffing noise and allowing her mouth to hang open in mock-distress. "I don't believe that I have any dogs, whether they're dangerous or not, to sick upon...freaky television characters that show up at my door! I demand to borrow at least one of your dogs, should Mulder and Scully decide to invade my home." The high schooler snickered and sat back in her chair, folding her arms across her chest in defiance. Dee was completely right about hearing about the incident either through neighbors or the radio first...news (or rather gossip) seemed to spread like wild fire through Alameda; there was simply no stopping it. Truth be told, if a space ship were to land in Audrey's front yard, it would be an act of God if Dee were actually the first one to know. "I'll be sure to keep my phone with me at all times so that as soon as it happens, I can act as fast as possible and be absolutely prepared!"
"Oh, well, that's actually a good idea!" It hadn't occurred to Audrey that Dee could easily blame any house fires upon Gonza knocking over a stray candle. "I wish I had an insane pet to blame...house floods or something on." Audrey rolled her eyes in a teasing manner and sipped at her latte. "Well, either way, it's a pretty watch. You'll have to take me to the store where you guys found them...I might want one myself." In all honesty, Auds just wanted to find the source of the watches, as she was still feeling quite drawn to it. "Maybe I should introduce myself to her sometime? I've been meaning to do that...introduce myself, I mean." It was kind of Audrey's 'thing' to introduce herself to new students. Being a particularly friendly girl, she always felt rather poorly when she saw new students being shafted by native students. She therefore tended to go out of her way to introduce herself to the newer kids at school, making sure they felt as welcome as possible. "Oooh, cute wardrobe? I think I'll have to raid her closet myself, then!" Audrey raised her eyebrows enthusiastically and a large grin spread across her face. Though most people wouldn't peg Audrey as the type of girl to be into fashion, the truth of the matter was that she lived for it. From runway to ready-to-wear to knowing all of the elite designers, Auds was heavily involved with the fashion scene and all forms of it greatly interested her.
Audrey had, for the most part, not given the crows a second thought. Sure, she thought it was a bit weird how loud they could be...and how they seemed to stare continuously into the cafe at Dee. She glanced up at them from time to time but soon enough began to ignore them. It wasn't until the birds actually turned around and flew off (well, not completely off; just up into a tree a few feet away or so was more like it) that Audrey actually turned her attention back on to them. She hadn't followed their flight pattern, so the young woman had no idea that instead of leaving entirely, the birds had just retreated to the nearby tree...but still, she found the whole incident quite strange. "Yeah. Who knows? Maybe the birds are planning something with the aliens that destroyed the theater." Audrey snickered and tossed a few locks over her shoulder. However, her face took on a more serious look as the two began discuss the strange happenings that they had gone through so many nights ago, and how no one else seemed to be experiencing a thing. "True, true, true." Sighing, she couldn't help but grin as Dee called her 'luv'; she had always thought Adenah's British accent was cute, thinking it was particularly adorable when she spoke in Brit slang as well...'luv' being one of her favorite 'British-Dee words.'
