"Maybe it's telling you you're destined to be a Sailor?" she said lightly. Only Audrey wouldn't catch the double meaning. She'd think Adenah meant a sailor of a ship, out on sea water. Dee on the other hand, while she originally meant the first idea, caught the double meaning. Cracking a grin, she added. "Fishing for a living!" laughing she slumped back in her chair. "Though the day you choose to do that, is the day I give up dance." she said still laughing. Becoming more serious again she fixed her posture, though remained leaning back. The seriousness didn't last as she pictured Audrey in a straight jacket and another grin cracked. "You in a straight jacket, during a play that didn't involve crazy people? You'd be devastated." she teased, taking another sip of her tea, and trying not to laugh so she could get the hot liquid down her throat.
Adenah could understand though, when you were involved in something where you preformed for people, you just needed to have a cute outfit, or it wasn't worth it. The clothes helped you get in the right mood, and made it more fun. When she was in music videos, she always got more pumped up about it all when she had a really awesome outfit to dance in. When she was in the school play, some of her favorite parts were the costume and make up sections. Becoming someone you weren't, even for a little while, made life more fun.
