"You should. It's not quite as...professional, as I'm use to. But for a regular private school, it's not half bad." she was probably making it sound worse than what it really was, but Adenah was far to use to people who lived for acting, singing, dancing, etc. Lived for the arts, and that's what their lives where. Here it was just an extra activity that people did for fun. It wasn't the devotion she had been use to for so many years. Her shoulders shrugged, it was Natsumi's choice, but it offered something to do with extra time. Taking another bite of her pasta, she chewed slowly, thinking about the times she had spent with the drama club last year. Dance was still her thing, but drama had always been fun.
Adenah looked up, and then back and forth between Shou and Natsumi, a smile grin forming on her face once again. "Well, thanks, though I'm entirely sure there was a whole lot for me to handle." She did have the whole thing under control with the spray and the cloth. At least she hadn't freaked out or anything. Dee would have helped if her assistance had been needed, but clearly it hadn't been. What was also clear was what was going on between these two. They seemed to be having fun subbing each other just a little bit. Adneah had no idea why, she liked them both well enough so far. Adenah wasn't going to put too much thought into it. Or try not to, anyway. She'd laugh about it, even though she had no idea what had caused each of them to be so...annoyed, (was that the word?+ with each other.
She raised her gaze to look at Shou, a small smirk forming on her lips, shaking her head slightly as the gust of wind hit her next, blowing her hair about her face again. Somewhat annoyed, she raised her hand to separate the brown strands back into their proper place, before bringing her attention back to the conversation. The smirk still in place, she shrugged. "Just because your use of sarcasm was not acknowledge, does not mean it was not recognized." she continued to watch him for a minute, smile still in place, before lowering her gaze once again to her food, this time her salad. She loved strawberries.
Without looking up at Natsumi, she addressed her question, her attention was on putting the right amount of dressing on her salad. Natsumi had finished eating fast, but apparently Dee had a bigger appetite. She didn't care really, it just meant more things that tasted good. "I'm a year younger than you." she said, remembering the girl had told her she just started as a senior. "A Junior." she finished. Just two more years, and she was out of here, back to England. As much fun as California was, she missed her country. She'd come back to visit her mother, but Adneah fully intended to attend University back at home.
"As for the location of your lunch, that bloody well sucks." The more physical activity she did, the more hungry she got. Judging by the towel, Shou had been doing some kind of exercise. Maybe he would get a chance to eat his food later. As for the sky, she looked at him, blinked, and then twisted in her spot, pushing herself up slightly to look at the sky. It was...a sky. Right. Sometimes Adenah felt like she was missing something when she talked to Shou, like that whole thing with honor, she still didn't fully comprehend, nor did she want to try. Sitting back down, she brought her attention back to her lunch. "Anyone ever tell you that you're mind has an odd way of working?" she asked casually. It seemed odd to her anyway. Maybe it wasn't a strange question to Natsumi, maybe it was a Japanese thing. Or maybe Adenah was just ignorant. Either way, going from lunch in the lockers to the way the sky was seemed odd.
