Hey, all. I'm not sure this will come as a surprise to many of you, but I think I'm going to have to drop Bastian and Alcide from the game. It's been fun and I'm so sad to have to do this, but I clearly haven't been keeping up, and I'm not sure that's going to change any time soon. It's been great getting to play with you all! |

Sorry I haven't been around; I haven't had a chance to say so sooner or I would have, but I probably will be MIA for a couple more days, as we have a sick baby on our hands, it would seem. Hello everyone, it is your friendly mod here this evening. :) I hope things are going well with everyone and real life isn't being too demanding to us all. I'm doing some updates to the character list once more so just drop a comment here to let me know that you're still with us and playing and things are all good. Also, the last crack event we did was great and I hope everyone else had fun. I was thinking of ideas for another event sometime down the line but wanted to throw it out to everyone here, cracktastic or realistic? What kinds of things would you guys like to see more on the Folly? Just let me know down in the comments. :) Well, anyone have any questions or comments? Complaints? Just want to chat? :D |

Hi all :) I'm Jen and I'm new here. I'm 28, in EST, and excited to get right into the game. This is Lynne Masters. She's from Indianapolis, IN and she's decided it's time to travel a little and see if she can't find a new place to call her home. She's a hairdresser who moonlights as a bartender (or did in Indianapolis, anyway), 26, and excited by the prospect of making new friends and a new life. Body Swap Just a reminder that tomorrow morning everyone will go back to their regular bodies. If there are any logs you want to work on during the body swap please put them up tonight. If you have any difficulties putting them up tonight let me know. All logs obviously do not need to be FINISHED tomorrow, just at least STARTED. :) I am sure everyone will be excited to have their pups get back into their own skins. :) I've really enjoyed this crack experience and we're working on the next one for everyone! :D |

Reminder! This is just to remind everyone that starting tomorrow that our characters will all be in different bodies again (I'm sure they are very excited for this). Any threading you want to have with your character in their current switched body will need to be up by tonight. It doesn't need to be done of course, but to keep from there being any confusion it does need to be up. Also, for those who have noticed the open bar thread, there is a device in the castle that was found that caused the body switching. No one is sure yet how it caused it but in the course of that thread someone is going to try and reverse the process which is what will cause everyone to switch to their second bodies. I'm sure this is all going to be very traumatising for everyone involved in the game but really, its lots of fun for us. If there is anyone that wants their pup to be the one to play with the device/figure it out head over to the open bar thread for that. For everyone else, come Monday morning your pups will be in all new bodies again. In case people forgot here are the new body swaps! Week 2 Eric--> Vala Alcide--> Eric Sam--> Will Vala--> Bastian Lucy--> Sam Bastian--> Lucy Will--> Alcide And of course, corresponding icons :D        And like before, please remember where your new body was the night before and who/what they were doing; ask muns in control of the body before you tattoo or shave them etc. Above all have fun with this last round guys! :D |

Modly post Hello everyone! Its getting to be that time once again, time for another Folly-wide event! Our last event in which the Pirates Now, when I was asking for suggestions it seemed that most people liked the idea of body swapping and I have to agree, I think it has excellent uses. So! What I'd like from everyone (since we're such a small, lovely little community) is when is a good time to start an event for you? I know RL can be unpredictable at times but let me know if you have any idea of upcoming events. Also, if there is someone you particularly want to have your character go into or vice-versa, please let me know so I can try and make as many happen as possible. Thanks, anyone have any questions? Another Modly Post Okay another mod post here guys. We're looking for something that can help get this place busy and bouncing again as its gotten rather dull and slow. I had someone suggest making icons each week of some great lines/scenes that people write and I really like that idea. So I thought I'd throw it out to everyone else as well, what would be interesting for the game? Keep it being fun and full of hijinks? |

*Mod hat on* Hello Folly members :D I hope everyone is doing well and such. This is just your friendly neighborhood mod doing a quick drive-by to see who is still around. I know holidays can make things difficult for playing but I was just trying to grab a quick headcount as I am going to be redoing the "characters available" list for advertising purposes. :) So if you could just reply to this post with a wave and what not it would help me a bunch. Also, anything that you a player would enjoy or would like to see in the game please let me know. Hearing from you and being able to bounce ideas off of people makes the game better for everyone involved. One final thing before I go and leave you to regularly scheduled broadcast, the Folly is full of many things that happen that can not be explained (first and foremost the whole flying island thing). But adding to that list is that the island itself experiences seasons and weather pattern changes. Your characters in the game may notice the days getting shorter and yes the weather getting colder. I feel this could lead to some rather fun and interesting game scenarios (folly wide snowball fight anyone?) So, questions? Comments? Cookies? |
