After watching that debate the other night I hope more than ever that Obama wins. I may not agree with all of his policies, but I just cannot support a candidate who doesn't understand how incredibly useful PBS and programs like Sesame Street can be. As both a mother and someone who works with children I can't see the logic in cutting subsidies for a program that has been shown to help encourage and increase literacy and learning retention in children. Beyond that, Big Bird and Elmo are adorable and little Xander loves them as much as he does his real friends.

Enough of that, though. Halloween is nearly here, and the daycare center will be having its annual Costume Party. If anyone would like to volunteer to help out, I would appreciate it. There will be punch, snacks, and adorable children, so how can you say no?

I've got a dilemma, and I need someone smart or with medical knowledge to solve a problem for me. I've got a nasty headache, and I'm not sure what I can take for it. I've got ibuprofen and acetaminophen, so which is safe? I wouldn't want to die so soon after getting back on my feet, you know?
