I was reading the papers, too. Seems there were other minor events about the country - none like this, though. No deaths have been reported. None of ours, anyway. I suppose we should feel so lucky. Capitol Hill has yet to release a statement on the matter. Those idiots, all probably sitting on their hands.

I would say I've had enough confrontation to last me a lifetime, but it'll only last until the next big story. Until then, I need to buy a new recorder. And some more bandages. Back to life as usual. I actually miss classes right now.

Anyone need anything while I'm out shopping? First aid or food or a broom and a pan? It should be a joke, but the funny thing is it isn't.

I feel like I've been rather distant lately...

But since someone decided to describe in detail what they've 'always wanted' to do to me while waiting in line behind me at the bookstore last week, I felt a little weird about talking to people.

On another note, I've managed to make a rather okay berry iced tea. ^~^ I'm almost pleased with it, but I feel like it's missing something. If someone wants to try some and could give me some feedback, that would be really sweet.

My friends back home gave me this to help with the lack of AC. Somehow I don't think it will work too well.

Blah, bah, blah I'm Declan. I have some family here. I don't know who I am, but I can turn invisible for a little bit. That's pretty cool. I have achy bones. That totally got me out of a lot of boring gym classes in high school. I like how I can say that in the past tense. It's awesome.
