First of all, I apologize for the lateness of this Love Line post, however with everything that was going on I didn't have the same access to my equipment as usual and considering this topic I didn't want to half-ass this. Second, due to the nature of the topic, I might not answer all the questions posed to me. I will warn you in advance that I have very definite feelings on this, and am not in a mood to argue my opinion.

So, what's the topic, you're wondering? Past life loves and how they should affect us.

My thoughts on this are simple, really -- we shouldn't be bound by our pasts when we're so clearly different people now. Sure, once upon a time Adam was married to Eve, but look how that marriage turned out. Aphrodite was married to Hephaestus but had a bunch of kids with Ares (and anyone else who was interested in her). Odin considered Frigg his wife, but had more concubines and random kids than he could shake his dick at.

Frankly, if I had the choice between being forever alone like I was before or finding happiness with someone I might have never interacted with if not for meeting them here, well then sign me up for the Monte Mating Cattle Call... ladies~

So, thanks to those stupid protesters, there is a bunch of places all around town that are going to need fixing up, and from some of the chats I've had with some of the owners, the insurance will take ages to kick in and actually pay for it.

So to give them a helping hand, I'm arranging a car wash for this weekend. As is traditional with said car washes, anyone who volunteers to help wash will be expected to strut their stuff in their best bikini (or be other shirtless, for all of the men), and anyone who pays to get their car washed gets to watch said strutting.

First off, as the God of requited love, I can make the object of your affections think about you. It might only last a short time, but it'll happen.

Second, as the avenger of unrequited love, if someone you love has wronged you, I can make them feel your pain for a short time.

Third, also because I'm the avenger of unrequited love -- a more romantic Hawkeye, if you will -- if I ever find myself squaring off in a fight against someone who has recently wronged another in a romantic sense I'll kick their ass. Hard. Definitively. And with gusto.

Why am I telling you all this? Why not? Besides, it's possible someone might want to take advantage of one of those abilities, and if that be the case now you know who has them.
