Thank bloody Christ the lights are back on and the town is essentially back to normal. My pantry ran low and I had to resort to breaking into the grocery store and foraging for supplies -- and yes, for the record, I even left some money in the till. Much obliged to the friends I ran into along the way -- Riley, Jon, M Morris -- because they made me feel somewhat safer.
Admittedly, this is partially why I've decided not to live alone any longer. The Bridget Jones fear of dying alone, not being discovered, then being found eaten by Alsatians is starting to hold unnervingly true. Nevermind that I don't own a dog.
[Camilla] I heard about what happened. Are you okay?
[Carina Castro] Congratulations on avoiding what was a particularly awful period in this town's recent history. Did you make it back alright, chaos notwithstanding? I'm free anytime if you'd like to meet up for some coffee, get to know each other, I can tour the house and if you find me acceptable/unlikely to murder you in the night, then I could sign the lease?
[Byron & Kaden] You're all idiots but I understand why you did it. At least you kept people safe, too. Are you in very much trouble?
