Okay, so I've got tons of good news this week, so I'm in a pretty awesome mood (all things considering). First, the bad thing that's not totally bad – so my lease ends at a really awkward time, which is the end of this month. Consider this my announcement that I am officially looking for a new place to live. I have two dogs and I have no intentions of giving them up, but I promise they're very sweet, well-behaved goofballs and that I'll be taking care of them 100% on my own. Also, if the rent weren't extraordinarily expensive, that would be an awesome plus as well. As for myself, I am a pretty damn good roommate and I wash my dishes and clean up after myself. I participate in household chores. And I bake! What more could you want?
But anyways, onto the good news! I'll be graduating on time this June and will have completed my master's thesis, "Female adolescents in prostitution: A meta-analysis of literature," which has been my life and soul for the past two years. And I'll get a fancy degree to go along with it! That being said, I won't be able to hang around Montenegro really, considering that my degree will be done, so I started looking for a job. I was hoping to get back to New York or maybe move to a new city, but the women's shelter that I've been doing my clinical work at has officially offered me a job (!!). I'm super-excited to start working there come this summer, and it's really awesome to know that my life is totally coming together.
Seriously, nothing can bring me down right now. Nothing.
