I'd like to turn to a type of song that people like myself find ourselves subjected to with increasing frequency as time goes on, and that is the college alma mater. You'll find yourself at a reunion of grads, and old undergrads, and eh... somebody will start croaking out one of these things and everyone will gradually join in -- each in his own key, of course -- until the place is just soggy with nostalgia. Well, a typical such song might be called Bright College Days, and might go like this. Bright college days, O carefree days that fly, To thee we sing with our glasses raised on high. Let's drink a toast as each of us recalls Ivy-covered professors in ivy-covered halls. Turn on the spigot, pour the beer and swig it, and gaudeamus igit-ur. Here's to parties we tossed, To the games that we lost, We shall claim that we won them some day. To the girls young and sweet, To the spacious back seat of our beat up Chevrolet.

Never thought I'd be so thankful for classes to begin again. I hate feeling restless.

honestly don't understand what goes through the heads of men sometimes, but really wish my ex would stop leaving me tearful voice mails. of course, we have a child together so i can't simply delete the messages without listening because what if it's something about Sakura? but, no. everything is still all about him, of course.

looking forward to finally getting my life together and if everything pans the way i would like, i might have my daughter within a year.

It's amazing the things a distracted mind can lead to. For instance, my apartment had gotten so cluttered that I woke up this morning snuggling with a thesis paper.

Thankfully, I made it a point today to get everything I don't need cleared out before someone decides to bring in a camera crew and put me on Hoarders.

It feels rather nice to have some space again, and I think it's doing some good for my countenance as well. I suppose there's no point to this, but if anyone could use a study guide for any of your English courses, I may have saved one or two. And some poetry-
