We are meant to introduce ourselves here, sì? I figure it is a good time now, since I have at last convinced my father to leave the hotel and return home. It has been two whole weeks and then some more, I believe I am settled by now. My Nonna kept calling him anyway. He should be working.
My name is Providenza and I am coming here from Siena. In Toscana. Ah - Tuscany, you say? I am to be starting school for Psychology in September, but I wished to come early. To take a class for summer. To meet people. It is really my first time away from home, so it would be a good thing.
My father is not very happy about it. But my father, he is hoping for me to feel lonely and come home again before the year starts, I am thinking. He is - He worries too much. It is very nice here so far, though I have only seen my apartment and the building for classes.
I don't want to be bothersome, but does anyone know if there are any gelateri in town? Two weeks is a very long time without it.
