I thought the point of a fellowship was not having to deal with all of the undergraduate brats? SO much for that. I've been forced into being a TA, and I already want to fail every single one of you. I need a damn drink.

Hello! I'm new here! Well, duh, right? Anyway, I'm Holden. My brother is here already. He's in med school now! That's a good thing for him. He also has a book, but everyone knows about that. Oh! His name! Austin. How many Austins are here? As for me, I'm in music. Because I can't be a doctor. I mostly play the violin and piano, but I can play other stringed instruments. I'm not very good at woodwinds or brass. Not enough lung power. I look forward to meeting other music majors!
I've looked around and noticed some interesting clubs to get into. I'll probably join Animal Rights Club, Music Club, Prayer Club, and Yoga Club.
It's still a little weird to be open about who I am, so I'm not going to scream it out, but if you ask, I'll let you know. Some will already know if they check that filter.
And since it's always easier to meet people with a joke, here's a great one.
Q. What did one toilet say to the other toilet? A. You look flushed! HAHA! XD

I'm pleased to announce that the dean has approved my proposal for another class. I hope that those who are interested in philosophy will consider taking "Philosophy of the Human Person." I hope to accomplish several things with this course, but it will center around questions of autonomy, subjectivity and the immortality of the soul, which I imagine is of personal interest to many of you. I will still be offering "Moral Philosophy: Theories of the Good" in the fall term as well.
I hope you are all continuing to enjoy your summer vacations.
[FILTER: Ayane Inoue; Japanese]I'll be flying to Japan next week, so if there is anything you would like me to bring to our parents, let me know.
