I'd like to turn to a type of song that people like myself find ourselves subjected to with increasing frequency as time goes on, and that is the college alma mater. You'll find yourself at a reunion of grads, and old undergrads, and eh... somebody will start croaking out one of these things and everyone will gradually join in -- each in his own key, of course -- until the place is just soggy with nostalgia. Well, a typical such song might be called Bright College Days, and might go like this. Bright college days, O carefree days that fly, To thee we sing with our glasses raised on high. Is it wrong to be angry at a so called "leader"?

Is it wrong to be angry at a leader who disappeared, left his pantheon in near shambles, and all because of some pity reason?

Is it wrong to be angry at a so called leader whose only contribution to the pantheon is whining like a two year old child, and throwing tantrums all the time? A so called leader who was not there during perhaps the most unsettling time of our pantheon's existence?

Boo hoo boy. Our Father wouldn't let you be God.

Fuck, all my Lannister feels for this song. Can't believe the season is ending tomorrow. I mean, it was shit, but I still don't want to wait a year for a new episode.

I know some of you watch Game of Thrones. We could watch together in the lounge. I can hook up a livestream to the TV. Wear your house colors. And bring food or booze. I'll get some lemon tarts or something. A Lannister always pays her debts.

Les Miserables goes live this weekend, and I am so nervous I might vomit can't wait! Our cast is amazing, I especially need to give mad props to our Marius. Thomas, it has been an honor and a privilege to feign unrequited love in your general direction, and I hope we bring the house down with our rendition of 'A Little Fall Of Rain'. Ben, I just know your Gavroche is going to wow the crowds, Jazz, you'll be an amazing young Cosette, and Lilia, your Fantine is so improved a dream.

I'm really looking forward to showing what I can do, and I'm sure everyone else in the cast is excited to show off the culmination off all our hard work. Our assistant director, Melody, has worked her ass off especially hard, and we all want to make her proud. So, people better come, I promise it'll be worth the ticket price.

I think next summer if I'm not taking classes, I want to work with Cirque du Soleil. I can't get past this video of the contortionist from their Alegria tour. I've been trying to duplicate it for almost a year but I'm still not quite as flexible. My breathing also requires more practice. You can get lightheaded so easily. But practice does make perfect! And yoga has helped a lot. I may not be able to fly or travel great distances like I did in that lifetime, but I'm not lying around complacently with this body.

Cai and I will be going to Mexico on the seventh for two weeks! I'm so excited, though I initially felt worried about missing work for 14 days. Luckily there's a lot of staff who can fill in during the summer months. Is there anything anyone wants me to bring back? Any souvenirs?

For those who expressed interest in the Introduction to Ornithology class I'm offering this summer, I've gone ahead and ordered the required book for the class -- Watching Birds: An Introduction to Ornithology by Roger F. Pasquier. The class itself will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 10 - 11:30am.

Otherwise, some of you may have heard about a chapter of the Animal Rights club becoming available on campus. If anyone has an interest in joining the club please do let me know, as I'll be acting as the faculty advisor.

It seems I've got quite the full summer ahead of me.
