I'd like to turn to a type of song that people like myself find ourselves subjected to with increasing frequency as time goes on, and that is the college alma mater. You'll find yourself at a reunion of grads, and old undergrads, and eh... somebody will start croaking out one of these things and everyone will gradually join in -- each in his own key, of course -- until the place is just soggy with nostalgia. Well, a typical such song might be called Bright College Days, and might go like this. Bright college days, O carefree days that fly, To thee we sing with our glasses raised on high. Let's drink a toast as each of us recalls Ivy-covered professors in ivy-covered halls. Turn on the spigot, pour the beer and swig it, and gaudeamus igit-ur. So, I'm sitting here lecturing to my goldfish about coral reefs, and it occurs to me that there should probably be some students between me and them. You know. Human beings with intellectual reasoning and all that. Because the fish aren't getting it, and if they are, it's not like I can expect them to take finals.

Okay, maybe that's incredibly stupid. Point being, some of you have to be interested in Marine Biology, or I'm going to be trying to give examinations to goldfish.

With that out of the way, I suppose I should tell you that my name is Andreas Marlin. Professor Marlin, if you will. Giggle about it on your own time.

I also give bonus points out to people who can accurately guess which deity I was. Get on that.

I am so fucking sick of idiot gym rats who think it's cool to try and lift the big weights to show off and then whine like dumb bitches when I ask them to put shit back where it belongs. Newsflash, fucko - if you can't carry it from point A to point B and back again don't attempt to. It's just that fucking simple.

Am I surrounded by morons, or is it just my lucky fucking day?

It's been kind of hard for me to sleep lately. ;____;

I keep having these nightmares. About eagles. And...thunderstorms, I think?

It's just...very confusing. I am not sure how these two things go together. Maybe someone else would know?
