oh alright, I'm going to weigh in on the whole V-day situation, because that seems like the popular topic! and here is my position: ladies, we should make a point of celebrating Galentine's Day on the 13th. so -- gals! breakfast on monday at the Black Mountain Bed & Breakfast? or the Ambrosia Diner, if their brunch menu's any good. (Aria, Braylen: weigh in!!) I want whipped cream and strawberries and waffles.
lady-RAs, if you want me to print up flyers for this to catch students not surgically attached to the networks, I can do that!! everyone and everyone with ovaries is welcome as long as the venue has room :)

in other news entirely: for all of you living in dormitories, the RAs are hosting a movie night this friday. february the 10th, 7pm, ghostbusters (1984). first floor lounge, so there'll be plenty of seating & a large screen & decent soundsystem. best of all, greasy finger food will be provided. i will even, god forbid, pop some popcorn.
i'll also be taking suggestions for the next movie night. & please, whoever keeps anonymously submitting debbie does dallas: quit it.

I've been feeling awful lately and, as per my therapist's instructions, I took the day off. There's really only so much I can do that isn't school-related though, so I finally borrowed one of Jack's movies (Jack, I borrowed one of your movies, I hope you don't mind).
Natalie Portman is a lovely woman, is what I'm trying to get at here. And Rupert Graves was quite good as well, I'm only used to seeing him as Lestrade. I didn't recognize him.

This has been the most awkward class week in the history of ever. I have the feeling things will get worse before they get better though. Despite all that, I feel so accomplished. Not only am I a little ahead of the game homework-wise, I've got nearly everything in place for the super-secret-surprise I've planned out for my important person. All I need is the outfit and a few accessories, but once I've got that I'll be golden.
It's always so worth it to do something special for someone who deserves it, and after the week he's had he definitely does. Who punches a guy in the crotch, anyway? I can't wait until Tuesday~
