I'd like to turn to a type of song that people like myself find ourselves subjected to with increasing frequency as time goes on, and that is the college alma mater. You'll find yourself at a reunion of grads, and old undergrads, and eh... somebody will start croaking out one of these things and everyone will gradually join in -- each in his own key, of course -- until the place is just soggy with nostalgia. Well, a typical such song might be called Bright College Days, and might go like this. Bright college days, O carefree days that fly, To thee we sing with our glasses raised on high. Let's drink a toast as each of us recalls Ivy-covered professors in ivy-covered halls. Turn on the spigot, pour the beer and swig it, and gaudeamus igit-ur. The Wellness Center is open again this week as we prepare for the new year and the new term. Make sure you have all your required vaccinations before the term starts and have a safe and happy new year!

I have the greatest brother ever! Not only is he always there when I need him, but he's aces at picking out Christmas presents! Seriously, meet Fuppy, the most fucking adorable puppy ever! I can't believe I'm the owner of such a sweetheart...

I got some other presents too, but Fuppy is by far the best! I need to get him stuff, like a little bed, and cute clothes, and one of those bags so I can bring him with me when it's too wet or snowy for me to walk him. I should pick up film for my camera and also see if I can find some good subjects to try out my new painting supplies on, too.

If anyone needs me I'll be playing with my little honey~
