SING
When I first decided that I wanted to pursue a career in music, I thought long and hard about it. Although my ultimate goal is to be a producer, I've been gearing myself up for a stint teaching because I love the idea of fostering new generations of music lovers. I think that's why stories like this make me sick.
Reading that the choir director called the situation an 'oversight' makes me want to fly to Georgia and punch him right in his face. That poor kid already has so much to deal with, and being in choir is one of the few activities he can participate in, so how can tainting his experience be considered a simple oversight? I just can't even. Like, my blood burns for that child.
If I could, I would go visit him just to hear his voice, and tell him that he has a gift and shouldn't let one so-called teacher and a classroom full of heartless pricks ruin his joy.

Thank you modern media for giving me something to use to distract myself from worrying. However, my reaction makes me think Arron is rubbing off on me a little too much. Can't figure out if that's a good or a bad thing...
