Darling players, we have two issues we would like to bring up. First, the mods have been discussing the character limit and are wondering how to proceed with it. So we would like to ask you: would you like to keep the character limit where it is at 12, allow for a new and last slot of 13 with the next pantheon opening, or have the limit abolished entirely?
We are aware each one has its pros and cons, and we'd like to hear from you guys before making any final decisions. All comments are screened. Don't worry if we don't reply to you!
The other issue is regarding icons. We spoke of this toward the beginning of the game, but we feel it should be reiterated. Icons are not visible when threading. The only icon that should be visible is a default icon of your character's school ID picture. This means that sexy icon of Dionysus posing (hahaha) is not visible to anyone -- it will just appear as that default icon.
Therefore, we'd like to ask that people refrain from posting with just their icons. If you private something with it, that is understandable, but standalone icons only show up as the school ID picture. If this causes any problems, we apologize. If you've been playing it this way, you are not in trouble, we promise.

Kerrin here with yet another character!
This is Alex Coleman, real name Axl, but he hasn't gone by that in awhile, he'll answer to it though. He's the sister of Nyx and the ex husband of Demeter, Laura.
He's the Red Dragon of the Southern Ocean, or Ao Chin, and can turn into a dragon!!! I'm sorry, that's just so cool, even if he just shrugs it off.
Powers:
Dragon: He will appear as about a nine feet tall red and gold dragon that looks much like this. He can travel on the earth, in the air, and water. This is new to him, so it is still a clumsy, awkward transformation.
Rain Control: With a lot of focus, Axl can make it rain, snow, sleet, or hail in the city (15 mile radius) he is currently in. This takes a lot out of him, and only works for a few hours max.
His backstory is VERY detailed, and very sad, I had all the feels when writing it. Basically, his father was a drug addict loser, the details are in his application here. Also, he was, and still is, hopelessly in love with Demeter, but they lost their child after only two months, and life was never the same.... he also didn't want to believe her when she said who she thought she was.
He's an assistant manager at Saturdays! (like Fridays), in the mall and is going to grad school for business. He's trying to get his life together, because it's anything but.
STRENGTHS: affectionate, helpful, hard worker
WEAKNESSES: tight with money, withdrawn, alcoholic, blunt

Hello! Vic again, this time with character number 5: Durga. Known in this lifetime as Pratima Kirmani. Durga was a great warrior who defeated ultimate evils with weapons and gifts loaned from the head gods and goddesses of the Hindu pantheon. She also rode a lion. Pratima doesn't have a lion, but she has a pet tiger! In India. Don't worry.
Anyway! Pratima is 19, is a double undergrad in theology and Asian studies, lived in Jaipur until she was 14, moved to America. Wealthy and spoiled, but very religious (yes, she's Hindu). Both parts naive and incredibly wise (Durga's technically had lots of reincarnations. I mean Kali popped out of her forehead - wuuuuut). Bubbly and happy but tough as nails. You'll catch her at Montenegro Hospital, watching MMA meetings, participating in ballroom dance and fencing.
Warrior Goddess: Pratima isn’t primarily a fighter, but that aspect of her is too great to not be somehow effective. As a warrior of goodness and light, she instills a warrior’s spirit in others. She is very much a muse in that sense and can bring luck and fortune to those who battle with honest intentions. It also applies to herself when and if she ever chooses to fight.
Happy Days: Durga was known for her powerfully positive spirit and, when laughing at the demon Mahishasur, she caused a great earthquake. Pratima’s laugh has similar strength. General laughter automatically makes people feel better, happier. But get her really going and things begin to shake as though there is a minor quake.
Glowworm: The closer she is to a tortured, bitter, or enraged person, the brighter she glows.
Sheli has graciously offered up a character she's working on as Pratima's ex-boyfriend. ♥ It's also canon that Baldr and his family briefly stayed at her estate in Jaipur when she was child. Like said in extras, if anyone else wants any similar visitation lines, feel free. Pratima's entering her third year so all kinds of lines are open. But she spent her whole summer visiting family back home in India.
Also, I'm going to be a the hospital tomorrow, spending the night with my sister who just had surgery, so I'm going to be slow on updating!
