I'd like to turn to a type of song that people like myself find ourselves subjected to with increasing frequency as time goes on, and that is the college alma mater. You'll find yourself at a reunion of grads, and old undergrads, and eh... somebody will start croaking out one of these things and everyone will gradually join in -- each in his own key, of course -- until the place is just soggy with nostalgia. Well, a typical such song might be called Bright College Days, and might go like this. Bright college days, O carefree days that fly, To thee we sing with our glasses raised on high. Let's drink a toast as each of us recalls Ivy-covered professors in ivy-covered halls. Turn on the spigot, pour the beer and swig it, and gaudeamus igit-ur. Here's to parties we tossed, To the games that we lost, We shall claim that we won them some day. To the girls young and sweet, To the spacious back seat of our beat up Chevrolet.

herp a derp, slowatus/hiatus [21 Apr 2012|08:18am]
Hey there, darlings. Forgot to mention I'm going on my own slowatus/hiatus thing for about two weeks, possibly a week because basically irresponsibility happened [side-eyeing roomies so hard right now] and the cable cut off. I'm basically MISSING GAME OF THRONES KSDFJKDJFDF LIFE IS OVER and, well, stuck using my tmobile hotspot because the library here is basically a library built for ants (I'm too tall for those tables :|) - so the connection is spotty and I'm going to be more tortoise paced than usual.

For those of you who I'm logging with, totally understand if you just want to drop and hope we can still do something together in the future ;; I promise things won't always be quite so crazy with me. If you want to continue, I'm still down and thank you for your patience!

Hi guys. So I was hoping to play more with Beau's powers. They are the following:
I've Got A Crush On You – Being the goddess of infatuation, Beau can inspire temporary feelings of aforementioned infatuation between two individuals. She can even inspire them in someone else towards herself. Unfortunately, she has yet to take total control of this, and thus it ends up that she can't really make it useful... and it ends up in a few tight situations more often than not...

Beauty Is In The Eye Of The Beholder – Being a beautiful goddess herself, Beau will appear attractive to all people no matter what the state of her person is. She could roll around in mud and people will still think the sun shines out of her ass. Maybe she was born with it? Maybe it's Maybelline.

Sensual Seduction – She is also the goddess of sensuality. Sometimes even the most mundane of actions will trigger a "reaction" in whoever is near-by. Meaning that Beau could simply be drinking a cup of coffee and some poor unlucky bastard is going to get really turned on. Again, no control over this. Why would I do that when this is a potentially hilarious plot device?
if anyone would like to have their character be the victim be affected by any of these, lmk! I am in search of plot for Beau. OKAY, THAT'S ENOUGH GUYS. :D
