Dorcas made a tiny sound of surprise when he brought her close like that. This was dangerous. This was bad. This was... She sighed a little and pretty much snuggled up against him. It was entirely against her nature to do so but damn it, she'd never had this opportunity before and for once she wasn't going to squander the chance.
Although she couldn't help the words, "You smell good. Like... Like how I think James Dean would smell. Cigarettes and leather and shadows bad-but-good things." Honestly, when asked later she wouldn't remember saying them but it was the truth and she didn't want to be a liar right now.
Of course she got hung up on her madness. Everything in her life had told her she was a bad girl so she had to convince other people of it. Then they'd be safe. But Aimon apparently didn't want to be safe so that was fine with her too. He was a big boy. He could take care of himself.
