He listened to her, and watched her show him the multiple jagged scars on her arms, and for a moment, he didn't care that she was some kind of demon, or that she'd occasionally make people go insane (not that that was something he wanted to toy with), all that mattered was that she was scarred, and he was scarred as well, permanently. He felt bad for her that she had to wear hers so openly, though, and he found himself placing a hand on her arm.
"No, I'm not going to do that..." he sighed. "I don't know, but...you're getting a little hung up on who you were and the crazy shit you're capable of doing. Just...relax for now, okay? You're here, you're with me, and I'm not judging you in the least. I promise."
He smiled at her, reassuringly, before looping his arm around her shoulders, and bringing her closer to him. He didn't really care how awkward it might have seemed, he just kind of wanted to make sure she was alright, and that she felt...safe instead of so very nervous. This was going against everything he knew about interacting with people.
"If anything, I'm glad I met you. But you're going to freak yourself out if you keep thinking about that."
