It took him a moment to even register that Riley was talking to him. Cute. Hel was so cute. And she looked fabulous in pink, and her smile…shit, his had to look awkward by comparison. Standing there like an idiot, kind of just looking at her. He noticed her muttering to herself and, to be quite frank, felt a sense of relief. He had to wonder what the voices she heard sounded like. Were they screeching and demonic like his? Was it a crowd?
Legion was experiencing a few tics of his own. He tried to brush off the growing crowd of voices asking him exactly what he thought he was doing, and what he was supposed to be doing, and what exactly he was supposed to tell Riley by running a somewhat nervous hand through his hair. It wasn't coming out at all, he was thinking of everything and nothing to tell her…she seemed imposing, but…cheery? He was making a wreck out of himself already. He had to be. Jesus. Jesus H. Christ on a cracker.
"Er. Yeah…that's fine." he smiled at Riley, trying to not look like he was so anxious, which was certainly starting to get overwhelming. Really, he would have been blushing if he had blushed easier, and from how hard he was trying NOT to stare at Hel, he could only anticipate that things were going to get worse. "Nice to meet you." he kind of offered a little nod to Jonathan, though the more people he was meeting, the more out of place they were all starting to feel. Company. Company was great. Company was awful. God.
He had to mentally shake himself out of the funk he was getting himself into, and he kind of turned to Hel.
"I was wondering if you had anything picked out. I mean, it's not a problem if you don't, I could…er…we could-" Shit. He was doing it again, calling himself 'we' on the internet was one thing, but in person, it was almost embarrassing. He had to collect himself for a second.
"I could always run and get something out of our dorm room." the chorus in his head told him he looked like an idiot, and he was certainly starting to believe them.
