Summary: Angrboða is in need of some non-judgmental comfort. Take that as you will.
Angrboða was in a rare, vulnerable mood. After what had happened between her and Jonathan (she couldn't bring herself to call him Heimdallr, even in her own head) she didn't feel comfortable going home right away. She knew that the boys would probably smell the Æsir on her, and she didn't really want to deal with having to defend herself for a spur of the moment decision. On one hand, Heimdallr had wanted her, on the other he was a fucking non-Loki Æsir and that just wasn't something she could justify to her family.
So, with a head full of confusion and an unhealthy amount of self-loathing plaguing her, Angrboða searched the dorm floors for one of the only non-Norse friends she had. It had taken her a little while, but now here she was standing outside of Cain's door debating how to go about this. Sure, she could knock; that would be the logical thing to do; but she felt awkward about the all this. What kind of girl showed up unexpected at a guy's room at this hour? If she was feeling more like herself she'd kick the door and expect him to know who it was, but she just wasn't feeling it.
Sighing softly, she debated with her options, glaring at the few people who dared to stare at her as they walked by. Fuck, she felt like a dumb co-ed trying to score a date with the way they were looking at her, so fed up with her own indecision she put on her best 'better than all of you' smirk and knocked. 'He better be in.'
