"Oh Aidan, honey, you really shouldn't have said that..." Biting down on the knuckle of her index finger, it took all everything Aria had to not waggle her eyebrows suggestively. "I mean, now that I know you're not going to die of shame if I do something to surprise you what's to stop me from, say, climbing into your lap? Or..." her voice drifted off as she wriggled her foot until her shoe came off, trailing her toes up along his shin.
The contact was brief, meant to be silly and even a little flirty, but not over the top. Oh yes, she was in a completely playful mood, the apprehension of earlier having dissipated thanks to the pleasant buzz of alcohol thrumming through her system. Seeing him like this had an oddly calming effect on her, reminding her that for all his classiness and seeming perfection he was still just as easily affected by things as she was.
For all that he was the reincarnate of a major Egyptian god he was still just Aidan. A guy who when it all came down to it had proven oblivious (or uninterested) in flirting until Aria's incredibly blatant attempt to get his attention finally paid off. There would be time to contemplate this revelation to her hearts content later, right now she had a little showing off to do.
"I'll be honest with you, Aidan, you're putting me on the spot here. I've been drinking, and last time I tried this on someone when I was under the influence they told me later it was a struggle for them not to cave... though I think you're probably harder to tempt." She tilted her head to one side, listening to the song that had just started. Tapping her hand lightly on the table to get the rhythm right, she looked him right in the eyes and started singing softly, for his ears only. She knew there was a good chance that his willpower could be stronger than her powers of suggestion, but she'd never know until she tried.
