Euterpe smiled even though she could feel his dark eyes practically boring into her soul. Her eyes widened at his words.
"Any song can become something so much more when played with feeling ad reverence." He might be modest about his playing skill, but she wasn't going to be. Aria knew true talent when she heard it, and much as this guy might not be in the mood for it she refused to just drop the issue. She noticed him starting to gather his things and tried to think of a way to prolong the conversation even though it was obvious that he wasn't interested. It had been so long since she'd been around someone who could play like that, and it literally hurt her to think he'd want to hide it.
Using her thumb to smooth away the few remaining tears that were on her face she waved off his question. "Yeah, I'll be fine, just having a bad day and your music really spoke to me. I'm sorry for interrupting, if you want to stay I can see if there's another room open. I was just going to fool around a bit anyway." She shrugged, doing her best to stay nonchalant. "Are you a music major? If so, I haven't seen you around." And she would have, considering she knew practically all the musically inclined students.
