The cruise ship looked downright spooky. The fog didn't help either. The two men who helped her drag her luggage to her room seemed worried, as if they didn't want to be stuck on the ship after dark. Beatrice couldn't really blame them.
After she got settled in Beatrice wandered out on deck and dug her phone out of her pocket to send a quick tweet: "on ship. think i'm a bit early, not a lot of people here yet. where's cthulhu?" She clicked "send" and shoved her phone back into her pocket. The wifi wasn't too bad for now.
