Kate had made a pot of coffee and poured herself a cup. Because... y'know... Kate. But then she got a ping on her phone that Scott had responded to her message. She opened it up and couldn't help smiling. She tapped out a response. It went back and forth a couple of times, before she agreed to bring the whole pot of coffee and her research to him in the Rec Room. So she dressed up the coffee in the pot with cream and sugar (though her own cup was still black), and headed to her room to grab her notebook.
It was a lot to carry, but she managed to bring her full cup, an empty mug, the full pot of coffee (with cream and sugar), and her notebook and phone down to the Rec Room so she could meet up with Scott.
"Hey! I hope I put enough cream and sugar in here... That's how you like it, right? It's french vanilla coffee, so it should be good either way."
