Who: Ned Leeds and Peter Parker What: Nerdy best friend time Where: Their room at the compound When: Tuesday Afternoon
Despite all of the weird things that had been happening with the portal, and the fact that he’d found himself in the past again, nothing was better than having absolutely nothing to do, and Peter to do it with. That hadn’t been happening a lot lately, however, with all the work they had been doing to help Tony, and the training that he was doing with Barbara to become a better man in the chair. Ned was trying to be more social. He had been spending a lot of time with Babs (because hello, Oracle, who wouldn’t?) and had even managed to go out to the teen party despite being grounded. Not being allowed to really use any computers until the warrant was cleared up (Mays orders, not the Governments, but he was sure May was scarier anyway) he'd pulled out some older lego sets.
Ned was sorting through the pieces of a deconstructed Lego model, looking for a particularly small bracket piece that would hold the door to the X-wing in place, but also allow it to open up to fit the little space pilot figure inside. He was gently pushing the pieces around the desk, content in the silence for a few moments, before smirking up at Peter.
“So, are you going to tell me about the girl you were dancing with at the Party, or am I going to have to figure out if my network snooping skills are as good as my facebook snooping skills.”
