Who: Miguel O'Hara and Ellie Williams (and a mention of Miles) Where: The fairytale tower, and then... not? When: Backdated - August 16th and then September 30th?? What: Confusion. A shockload of confusion. Rating/Warnings: TBC Status: In Progress
Miguel had made it to the top of the tower pretty shocking quickly, oddly delighted at getting the chance to climb again after so long being so close to the ground. For someone who'd hated being a spider straight after things had changed, he'd quickly grown to love some parts of the whole "being spidery" thing. Climbing was pretty good. Being able to see perfectly in pitch black darkness was ...yeah, okay, weird, but also cool once he got used to it. But the absolute best thing was when he got to glide between buildings, the updrafts catching on his web cape and combining with the anti-grav particles it gave off and letting him soar along at stupid heights and crazy speeds and it kept his brain and all its racing thoughts silent. It was his favorite thing. And this tower was a great height for jumping off of.
He stood at the edge of the tower's roof, looking down and waiting for Miles to climb to the top when it occurred to him that he could wait whilst gliding. He could jump off, glide down a little bit, grab hold of the ivy that clung to the stonework and just climb back up again and then they could explore the top of the tower. It wouldn't be a problem at all.
So, he quickly worked out the best side of the tower to jump from, went to the opposite side and ran as fast as he could to launch himself off the roof, somersaulting as he kicked off. Gravity caught a hold of him soon enough, and then he let himself fall...

Not a massive problem just yet, as he was able to glide all the way down to the roof of the compound, and then it was a simple matter of jumping and bouncing down to where the base of the tower had been only minutes before.
Miguel pulled his mask off, shielded his eyes against the daylight, and squinted up into the air at where the tower should have been. "What the actual shock?" he breathed out, and then carefully reached forward to see if the building was cloaked or invisible or something, but there was nothing there.
