While Natasha had been distant, dealing with the ramifications of her death and her subsequent appearance here, she struggled to find meaning. Her decision had meaning, it had a goal, an agenda, and a purpose, and now she was here again, trying to stop the worst thing that could happen from happening. Again. It made her life (and death) feel... small, pointless.
But moments like these — celebrations that she'd never get to see in the world she'd left — were important, and Natasha had made it a point to go to as many as she could.
With that in mind, she flopped down on the couch next to Steve. "You know, Bucky thought you and I" — here, she gestured between them with her finger "— were a thing."
