IT'S A WEDDING!

Who: Jest & Cath
When: Monday, December 12 ~ 2PM
Where: Brecknock Hall, New Asgard

Along with their chosen family and friends, Jest and Cath will affirm their commitment to one another in a small ceremony. Their vows will be self-composed, with the ceremony officiated by Thor Odinson. A celebration by way of food and dancing will follow.

After their wedding, both Jest and Cath will assume the surname Corvus.

THE BRIDE

Cath wears a black and red dress (here), accented with real flowers in her hair.

THE GROOM

Jest wears a black and red tuxedo, with lace design (here), accented with cupcake cufflinks.

VENUE

Originally built in the 1850's, Brecknock Hall is a restored historic mansion home that holds a spot on the New York State Register of Historic Places.

RINGS

FOOD & OOC

The reception features a red velvet cake made- naturally- by Cath. Other light bites and drinks will be available.

OOC - Tory's Troup

Naturally, Ben is there. A) he works at Sally's and B) he wouldn't have missed this for the world anyway. He came solo, just because Cisco still wasn't feeling well, but he video chatted the whole ceremony, so it was like he was there anyway! Ben stayed for some cake, but not too long.

Clint, being the coffee addict he was, couldn't wait to celebrate with his favorite bakery goddess! He's all smiles for the lovely couple and dances and chats with any and everyone (when he's not with his own husband).

Derek came (with Steve?) to the ceremony, but couldn't stay very long for the reception since the full moon was that night.

Jemma came with Alya and regrets from her husband, who had an experiment he couldn't be pulled away from, unfortunately. She's very glad to bring Alya around to talk to everyone, but who is especially wide-eyed at just how beautiful and queenly "Mrs Cath" looks.

As a fellow New Asgard neighbor and frequent pastry consumer, Nico wasn't about to skip out on this wedding. She really loves the whole aesthetic and has a great time!

Quentin is in the same boat at Nico, but flying solo this time, since Eliot was feeling under the weather but insisted he go. He does a couple of low-key magic tricks to entertain any of the kids at the reception.

Zari put 90% of this together, and is happy when everything went perfectly for the happy couple! She likely spent some of the reception dancing with Ray when she wasn't checking on the serving staff or making chit-chat with her fellow guests.

	Jest will claim dances with Clint, Nico, and Zari. ;) He is very interested in the magic from Quentin, since entertaining crowds is sort of his own milieu, back in Hearts. (Reply to this) (Parent)

Steve's definitely there with Derek. ;) I'm sure he went home early with his Wolf.

Kate probably had a little much when it comes to the champagne, but definitely clung to Clint a bit.

Henry begged a dance from Alya.

Lydia checked in with Nico, too, and offered condolences to Peter's PONG announcement. :(

And Cath probably thanked Zari a thousand times. No exaggeration.

Barry was there to celebrate with Cath and Jest. He was the one who welcomed the Jester to their world, and was excited to support their wedding. He hung around with Evan a good deal of the time, and only pouted a little when Evan had to go back to work after.

Sharon was there, too. While she has an office, she practically keeps office hours at Sally's.

Henry showed up for a little while to celebrate and snag some cake, but then had to head back to work himself. Being the Science Team's second in command meant that he didn't have too much time to offer, though he spent as much of it with Kaylee as he could (if she was there).

Of course Thor was there, as he was the officiant of the wedding. Zari wrote up basically everything he was supposed to say, and things only got a little awkward (and incredibly charming) when he went off script. After a couple of death glares from Zari, he probably stuck to the script for the rest of the ceremony. And he's available for dances at the reception.

Steve stayed pinned to Derek's side, and left the reception with him so they could head back to their place together for the moon.

While Kate wasn't really interested in all things love and happy at the moment, she was all about all things cake. A frequent visitor of Sally's, she knew how amazing both the food and coffee were, so she knew it would be to die for at the wedding. So she showed up, hugged Clint, tried not to feel as miserable as she really felt, and then headed home. She had dogs to take care of at the ship, anyway--let Kaylee stay and dance with Henry.

Yelena sought out her loved ones (Eliot, Natasha, Clint, Clark, ...Kate...) to spend time with during the ceremony and reception.

Lydia dragged Allison out to the wedding so they could dress fancy and get some dancing in. They probably reached out to Malia to go with them? Maybe? Though definitely needed some snuggly dancing time just the two of them.

And of course Cath was there. She was overwhelmed by the people and support and love and joy. She didn't let go of Jest's hand the entire time.

Cisco: Really wanted to be there, but still is dealing with some trauma, so was glad Ben video called him for it so he could still be in some capacity for his friends.

Tim: Went for a while, hung around Nico and some of the others and generally seemed to have a decent time in spite of recent loss of people to the Portal.

Roy:Doesn't do weddings, so if security was needed he'd provide it for the portal crew if they went.

Courtney attended as a guest and in an official capacity, working again for Zari in whichever places she was needed. She was chatty and was promised a dance by Robin!

Dylan was there with his husband, he's not quite as chatty as his better half but he'll try to mingle.

Ray is Zari's +1, so will be with her and ready to help with any organisational tasks if necessary. He was super happy for Cath and Jest and would dance and chat with anyone who wanted his time.

Clark loves weddings, he's a big softy and was definitely there for his friend Cath, and potential new friend Jest. He'd have caught up with his other friends too before departing a little earlier than most to see to things at the farm and stable.

Robin went to work the wedding at Zari's request cause she is a totally amazing waiter/usher/go-getter. She promised Courtney a dance, which was absolutely fine, no amount of awkward... maybe a little awkward when Robin stepped on Court's toes... twice. And maybe at the end when Court invited her to get a drink and Robin responded with "I love you."

Castiel showed his face as a friend of the bride. They established they were friends previously so safe to assume they are again. He stuck around long enough to congratulate Cath and Jest then would have wandered off to explore the building.

Some of my others might have went. Feel free to assume.
