Narrative: The Joker
Who: The Joker
Where: Gotham City. Yacko's joke shop the home of The Beaudrys!.
When: June 19th
Summary: The Joker catches a hilarious bit of news and can't help but laugh at other's misfortune.
"The studio first received reports of Pamela Isley's death two days from various witness and since then, photo and video evidence have surfaced. The following footage may be disturbing to some viewers."
A large gift box took up nearly the entire living room and cast a shadow on two Lazee-boy recliners seated in front of an active television. The over sized parcel was decked from head to toe in green and purple wrapping paper. Sounds of life emanated from the interior of the package and after the third clip of Isley's death a head popped out from the open top. Green hair obscured the mans eyes but the grin etched into his flesh was enough to identify him as The Joker. The Clown Prince scaled up the edge of this box and down the other side; The entire process of his gangly limbs lent him the appearance of a rather large spider.
Prying the remote from the stiff hand of Stan Beaudry, Joker activated the rewind button. The news appeared comical in reverse and elicited a giggle or three from the clown. As the screen flashed to the interior of a Gotham bank and a familiar silhouette, he keyed the play button. "..photo and video evidence have surfaced. The following footage may be disturbing to some viewers.."
The captivated clown slid into the Lazee-boy and threw his legs over the lap of Mrs. Beaudry where they dangled in the air like a child's. The video and sound quality was abysmal but he could make out Ivy's frantic voice. "No no! She said they wouldn--" SPLAT!
