Who: Cheshire Where: Her cell When: Thursday, June 10th Summary: Escape plan in motion
It was purely by luck that the regular guard was a pathetic excuse of a man; it was purely by luck that he was stupid enough to fall for her deal, and most importantly, it was purely by luck that someone who had very high up connections (and perhaps a huge truckload of money) had managed to get her transferred into Arkham Asylum.
When the guard, Matt, had walked past on his hourly patrol, Jade could not help but notice the way he looked at her. It was a look she was quite familiar with, and she had acted on it. A weeks worth of seductive smiles later, he had finally stopped outside her cell to 'talk'. That was what they did, talk.
...until today.
Matt, the poor fool, had become sympathetic. Jade had quite effortlessly succeed in her manipulation. A feel sad melancholic looks and carefully phrased words were all it took for Matt to send an email on her behalf. And that was all she needed to set her back-up plan in motion.
Dear Raven,
Mommy loves you.
Love, Cheshire.
Jade had lied about everything. The email address that was used was a dummy account of her team, but still closely watched by her employees. How many of those remained she did not know, but she was quite certain a handful of them were still around. The message itself was an escape plan, signaling her team to get ready and free her. Matt was under the delusion that it was a caring email sent to her daughter, nicknamed 'Raven' for her glossy black hair. No one informed him that the Ravens was her team of metas for hire. Jade imagined that the information was above his pay grade.
Poor Matt would be named an accomplice should the plan fail, but that was of no concern. Jade couldn't help but smile as she thought about Matt's comment before leaving, "You are the most compassionate terrorist I have ever met."
